INEOS Pigments USA, Inc. - Ashtabula Complex located in Ashtabula, OH consists of three facilities – Plant 1, Plant 2, and our Air Seperation Unit – that safely and efficiently produces titanium dioxide pigment (TiO₂) and titanium chemicals products. The company receives hundreds of MRO shipments a week and has over 15,000 spare parts totaling over $22M in value at 6 different locations.

This is a salaried, exempt, day shift position.  It is designated as a Safety Critical role. This position is responsible for managing the storeroom, day-to-day operations and the successful execution of safe and profitable business operation, customer service, and consistent compliance with procedures and policies. 

Accountability 1: Safety

Most important activities:  Adherence to all SHE policies and procedures and INEOS Pigments’ Safety Principles and Life Saving Rules.

  • Complete all computer-based safety training modules
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings
  • Maintains a high standard of housekeeping, displays safe working practices in all duties and identifies, corrects and reports hazardous situations.
  • Ensures adherence to INEOS’s 20 Process and Behavioral Safety Principles and Life Saving Rules

Accountability 2: Performance in Role

Most important activities:  Maintain standards and develop efficient practices within your group.

  • Participates and successfully completes training and development activities
  • Lead staff to anticipate and solve problems and plan for workload changes
  • Identify and develop strategies for continual process improvements to meet the needs of the business
  • Motivate and encourage growth and development of staff
  • Coach and encourage staff to perform work in a safe, efficient and reliable manner, foster teamwork and pride, and communicate plant goals, standards and direction, and ensure accountability
  • Monitoring and verification of inventory; lead cycle count process
  • Oversee the timely receipt and put away of deliveries for the plant
  • Conduct daily Toolbox Talks, and ensure the ongoing compliance of safety rules, safe work practices, and housekeeping and perform safety audits
  • Complete weekly and monthly reporting requirements to support procurement
  • Monitor and manage storeroom expenses
  • Ability to work outside normal work schedule hours and on-call coverage as assigned
  • Provides on-the-job training and mentoring for other departmental personnel
  • Completes all documentation accurately
  • Reviews, comprehends and follows all company rules, policies and guidelines
  • Adheres to current Collective Bargaining Agreement (where applicable)
  • Other duties as assigned

Level of education & experience in general

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience
  • Computer Skills: Email, SAP, Word, Excel

Technical skills

  • Warehouse Management
  • Ability to operate miscellaneous equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Ability to supervise loading and unloading of goods
  • Understanding of barcoding systems
