About the Job
The Reliability Engineer performs troubleshooting and develops short term and long term engineered solutions for rotating equipment and fixed equipment. This includes the day to day plant operational issues, or for capital projects. May oversee or provide technical leadership for a small group of engineers or inspectors on assigned projects. This individual will contribute to Reliability programs such as equipment chlorinator improvements. Will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to prioritize and schedule work. They will participate on improvement teams such as the Maintenance Best Practice Team, Chlorinator Life Extension Team, Reliability Technical Team, etc. providing valuable information, insight, and recommendations. This is a safety critical role.
Key activities include:

Follows engineering standards, plant procedures, and piping specifications to accomplish day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.

Develop short term engineering solutions for rotating and fixed equipment for extending equipment life and ensuring reliability.

Support plant maintenance and manufacturing cost objectives and cost reduction efforts.

Serve on teams or committees on assigned projects in an efficient and effective manner. May lead aspects of these teams or committees.

Makes suggestions and recommendations to the Reliability Manager based on technical expertise and engineering knowledge and experience.

Review and help implement Capital Projects working with Project Engineering in a team and customer relationship.

Supports the implementation of reliability efforts, mechanical integrity, PSM, and Safety Audit Action Items.

Design solutions to address root causes of equipment failure

Champion preventive/predictive maintenance of plant equipment.
- Review and manage the implementation of Requests for Change (RFC’s).
- Ensure adherence to the INEOS Pigments Process and Behavioral Safety Principles and Life Saving Rules.

Other duties as assigned.
About You

A Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering field is required

Must be proficient in MS Office, SAP, Excel

Work hours are generally Monday – Friday 0700-1530 hours. Off-hours duty coverage as required.

Ability to work all shifts as assignments dictates.
